Haiku My Heart–The wind has stripped them bare.

DSC05593

My heart is tender.

Accepting the changing view

Takes a little time.

************************

Working on accepting the “bare branch against the sky” look of winter that blew in overnight.

Not easy for this color-loving heart of mine.

Going to try and be gentle with myself about it.

And surround my Self with the color from the inside out.

Kim, there is lots and lots of color from the inside. I know that this time of year can be so gloomy. It was 11 here yesterday and no sign of sun. I wanted to sleep all day...jeesh. Maybe winter will hold on or it will go by so fast that spring and a world of color will be here before we know it. Hugs, thank you for your comments lately they do mean the world to me. big hugs.

Oh, sweetness- I can totally identify. This summer was SO hard for me (our season of bare branches- they get scorched by the heat and washed away by the endless rains and go dormant until they can come back to life safely). Just one day at a time, one moment at a time. Try and find something special about this season that maybe you can cherish, and if there is nothing, CREATE something special that you can indulge in as often as you need to. I'm trying so hard to do that.

*huge hugs* from me and love to you, always.

dear one,

i know that winters tug on your heart. the darker season, the grey, the shorter light. i promise you we will walk these days together and find ways of love and support to burn the candles of comfort bright.

i promise.

All of a sudden ours are falling like rain. There is still the odd street that is a canopy of yellow but it all looks so fragile. *sigh*

Take heart they will return. Till then I see only the beautiful shapes of the leafless tress. Nice Haiku and art work.

Dear Kim, I posted about change too, I am also a colour lover, most of my photo's are colourful, sometimes though I like to look at the subtle cooler tones they can be very soothing and beautiful. I know your words have deeper meaning, you are a sensitive soul, so I'm sending you love across the ocean and vibrant heart hugs!

I love your haiku. Be gentle with yourself. Find a different view. Your own point of view is very colourful.

I am glad that you are being gentle with yourself, My Queen, at this time of year and always. This is so important! It is a difficult time of year for me as well...I dread the snow...but I struggle to appreciate it and sometimes succeed! xoO
