SP Wednesday - Portrait Of an Earth Girl

Self-Portrait Wednesday

Spent some time in the sun on this fine Earth Day. Took out the tri-pod and actually got a shot of myself that I really love. I love the look in my eyes the best, I think.
Made me think of this song :

Want to say a huge

Happy Birthday to Baby Kate

who turns one today, Earth Day Baby that she is. Photos from her birthday celebration tomorrow !

Bless this Earth, our home, and all its wonders.

Happy Earth Day !

Is it nice to be home again? Great shot considering you were also behind the camera. Tricky stuff, huh? How wonderful to share a birthday with the Earth. Lucky girl.

oh, Kim, I love this picture of you. Good job, girlie, your eyes do have a penetrating look. This picture reminds me of the Who's song "I Can See for Miles".
Happy days,
Joanie

Kim, I like the picture too. A bit serious but very insightful and full of depth.

I also loved your green post. Guess I need to visit you more often!

I am so impressed with this self portrait Kim. You look reflective and thoughtful and your expression is you without altering the features of your face by a smile or a frown -- it is you, naked and who you are. I also have to say, from the photographs you shared of your father -- I've seen this "look" before. :)
